Denzel donates $1million to children in Africa

Renowned for his philanthropic efforts, actor and director Denzel Washington added to his résumé of humanitarian work by making a bounteous offering to Save Africa’s Children, a charity based in L.A. Washington donated a clean $1 million to the nonprofit that aids orphans and children suffering from AIDS all throughout Africa and the Caribbean. Thanks to his generous contribution, Save Africa’s Children is set to extend their reach and yield support to food programs, day cares and schools.
